We’ve now featured Dawson Reigns a few times on Essentially Pop: he gave us his Essential Weekly Playlist a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday we brought to you our interview with him.
Dawson’s latest single, ‘Love Was All You’, is a rocky, string and percussion led song, and was released earlier this month. Written by American Country Music singer songwriter Canaan Smith, in collaboration with Jaron Boyer (known for his work with Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean), as well as Arron Goodvin, it has a real Nashville sound to it that gets your head nodding and your foot tapping.
Canadian born but now Nashville-based Dawson’s energy and enthusiasm is evident in this track, a beautifully joyous love song, which could equally be about his love for making music as anything else. Dawson says:
“I love country music. I love to perform! I just want to create a sound that is true to who I am. So to be able to put my music out to the world and have it received so well and see the positive reaction from the fans and radio is absolutely amazing!”
‘Love Was All You’, is out now and is available to download from iTunes and Google Play, and stream on Spotify. Find Dawson online on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube, as well as his official website.
