Olivia Somerlyn releases her latest single, ‘O X O’, with a video as well that is full of familiar faces doing the ‘O X O’ dance moves.
The song has a great message about the journey one must endure when attempting to accomplish their dreams and goals; as others disbelief may try to knock it down, one must not become discouraged, but instead work for it harder.
The ‘O X O’ video features many familiar faces in pop music doing the songs dance moves such as Meghan Trainor, Kevin Jonas, Lindsey Sterling, James Maslow and more. She is currently on a European and US tour with platinum-certified artist Meghan Trainor, That Bass Tour and The Mtrain Tour, with dates on her website that run through September 2015. She has already toured with some major artists like Jessie J, Victoria Justice, and Nick Jonas and has also had a #1 on the Billboard Dance Chart and a performance at New York Fashion Week.
Olivia finds inspiration by advocating self-acceptance and individuality making her a great role model for her fans. Her songs are upbeat and danceable and also convey a positive message like the one in ‘O X O’. Olivia had this to say about the new single explaining,
“I wrote O X O about the people who try to bring us down but actually make us stronger by forcing us to believe in ourselves. They push us to prove them wrong. It’s a song about “haters” written from a more positive perspective that acknowledges the part they play in our journey to reaching our goals”.
Olivia Somerlyn also recently released her single, ‘Parachute’, co-written with Nick Jonas whom also produced the song. The two singles and extensive touring with some major pop acts have created quite the buzz around Olivia with over 76,000 Twitter followers (peaking monthly at 1.5 million), over 69,000 Facebook fans, over 44.300 Instagram followers and more than 20 trending Twitter topics to date.
