Caleb Joye: Anything But Ordinary

Caleb Joye, from St Augustine Florida is not your typical local top 40 music artist. With a crisp and professional sound he would rival any “big name” performer.

Caleb worked as an engineer, songwriter and producer in Nashville, and moved to St Augustine for what he saw as a better quality of life. Now performing as a solo artist, Caleb Joye and his guitar entertain intimate audiences, which he feels are more rewarding than his previous work with nationally known artists and producers.

Caleb Joye takes songs from pop and other genres and translates them acoustically into a fresh and vibrant live performance. Using a loop pedal, Caleb is able to record live performances with a quality that sounds like it’s been done in the studio – check out his stunning cover of Four Five Seconds:

We really enjoyed Caleb’s sound. It’s a fresh take on acoustic guitar, and we’re really looking forward to his album, which he’s currently working on.

You can find Caleb online on Twitter, Facebook, Reverbnation, Soundcloud, YouTube and his official website. If you’re in St Augustine, Caleb will be performing tomorrow night (22 September) at Spy Global Cuisine, starting at 7pm.
