Michael Bland and Sonny T came out of the Minneapolis scene and are alumni of The New Power Generation, and collaborated with Prince as a trio of sorts, working and performing on a variety of projects throughout the early 1990s. As (BR)OTHERS they come together for the first time in years, and the long-time friends showcase their funky sound in their new single, ‘(Br)other’, backed by Soul Asylum’s guitarist Ryan Smith’s new label, Hygh Tension Records.

This release comes ahead of a limited edition 7″ format, set to hit the shelves, just in time to slip under the tree, on December 6.
