Dutch DJ, producer, and remixer Nicky Romero’s latest single, ‘Stay’, is testament to the belief that excitement, love, ecstasy, and euphoria don’t have to be short lived experiences, they can stand the test of time.

Riley ft V$ Asad – ‘Fasho’

Riley is from Harlem, in New York City. He’s an up and coming rapper, but he’s also an athlete, an actor, a comedian (unintentionally) and most of all, a dream chaser. His latest single, ‘Fasho’, featuring V$ Asad, is the first taste of Riley’s upcoming album, ‘First Quarter’, and the music video has already found its way onto BET Jams.

King Ropes Shine A Light On The Current World Situation With Cover Of Classic Ray Charles Song, ‘The Danger Zone’

Back in July last year we brought King Ropes to the attention of EP readers. The group, who describe themselves as a “psychedelic, hard country garage roots rock band” (what a mouthful!) will be releasing their latest album, ‘Go Back Where They Came From’, on May 22. The album comprises 12 songs, all tracks by legendary artists, some well known, others less so. The first single from the record is the Ray Charles track, ‘The Danger Zone’ – a timely song if ever there was one.

Bulgaria’s 2020 Eurovision act VICTORIA recently released her entry for the 2020 competition. ‘Tears Getting Sober’ – out now – is a beautifully produced piece of orchestral pop, full of magical strings reminiscent of a show-stopping Disney ballad. Ahead of the event, we asked Victoria some questions about Eurovision, her music, and her upcoming livestream.

Sami Thompson – ‘Lifeline’

While we’re all caught up in self-isolation at the moment, it’s important to think about our friends and family, and maybe celebrate those we love, and drop them a quick “thank you” for being there. Pop singer Sami Thompson knows what it’s like to have that best friend who’s always there for her, and in ‘Lifeline’ she’s dedicated an entire song to that person.

John Paciga – ‘No One Else’

We’ve been talking about John Paciga for years now and yet, somehow, this musical supernova is still only 19. Now at Yale, where he’s the musical director of that University’s century-old a cappella group, ‘The Yale Spizzwinks(?)’, he’s honed his voice and performance skills and has also managed to write new music, including his latest release, ‘No One Else’, straight off the back of a summer tour.

Secret Social Club – ‘Gravity’

Secret Social Club, a new band from Southern California, aren’t really into the whole idea of having an exclusive club, but it feels like, with their new single, ‘Gravity’, and accompanying video and comic book, that we’ve been let in on something very special indeed.

Austin’s BLXPLTN have taken their music and weaponised it to show that the unthinkable is the new normal.

Chloe Tang – ‘Fanning The Flames’

Chloe Tang is no stranger to us here at EP, and her latest single, ‘Fanning The Flames’ is quite possibly the best release yet from the singer who nowadays lives in Los Angeles.

Flume – ‘The Difference (feat. Toro y Moi)’

It’s not too hard to guess that if you live outside LA, South Anderson Street wouldn’t be top of the list of places that spring to mind when you think of the City. Warehouses, chain-link fences, and graffiti are more likely to be seen than beaches or palm trees. But despite all that, it’s a vital neighbourhood with a lot going on in terms of culture and innovation, and it attracts artists of all kinds, such as director Jonathan Zawada, who made the video for ‘The Difference’, the most recent single from Australian electronic producer, Flume.
