Today, Netflix released ‘Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé’, which presents an intimate look at her historic 2018 Coachella performance that paid homage to America’s historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Interspersed with candid footage and interviews detailing the preparation and powerful intent behind her vision, Homecoming gives a peek into the process and emotional physical sacrifices it took to conceptualize and execute a performance of that magnitude that became a cultural movement. With this knowledge she wrote ‘Eve Eyed’, an empowering and introspective track that calls women everywhere to join together in liberating themselves from society’s coercive control of female minds and bodies. Good Cop Bad Cop Eponymous Debut Album For Sheffield Indie Rock Stalwarts

Joe Carnall has been a reluctant figurehead of the indie rock scene in his hometown of Sheffield for over a decade, with his band Milburn. Wanting to explore a different area, he set out with the help of close friend Matt Helders, himself no stranger to the music of Sheffield, as drummer, vocalist, songwriter, and founding member of Arctic Monkeys. The result – Good Cop Bad Cop, and the project’s self-titled, 11 track album, written by Carnall and produced by Helders.

David Will Mitchell And Cole Toury Set to release New Album ‘Conscience – Live in London’

If you’ve been a reader of EP for a while then you’ll be familiar with the names of David Will Mitchell and Cole Toury. The pair have worked as a songwriting duo for the best part of a decade now, and have released such beautiful pieces as the EP, ‘Far Away Places’, and album, ‘Faraway Places’. Now the pair have a new album, ‘Conscience – Live In London’, set for release on 21 February.
