The High Plains Drifters – ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’

The lyric video for ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’, the new single from NYC band The High Plains Drifters, focuses on an astronaut wandering around an abandoned space station. Although the song shares the title with the Rainbow rock song, and the name of the band sounds like they’d play country music, neither could be further from the truth – it’s a retro-synth pop track which harks back to the sounds of Erasure, Depeche Mode, and other classic UK electronic bands.

Natalie Joly – ‘Yours To Stay’

Natalie Joly is a 24 year old award-winning pop-rock recording artist. She’s also a singer, songwriter, and musician, who wrote her first song at the age of 8, released her first self-produced CD at 17, an EP at 19, and her single, ‘Irresistible’, in 2018. This was followed by ‘You Oughta Know’, in 2019, which was declared regionally as Song Of The Year. Last November she released ‘Running Circles’, her first fully self-produced release, which was then followed by ‘Will You Ever Stop’, in January this year. Both, along with her current single, ‘Yours To Stay’, which was released on February 26, are from her upcoming album.

Karma, Jack Rayner – ‘Hold On Me – Jack Rayner Remix’

Karma was a pioneer in the LGBTQ community, being an “out” celebrity in a time when there were very few, if any, of her status in the industry. Her latest single, ‘Hold On Me’, a collaboration with Jack Rayner, serves as a testimony to her talent. Rayner is on a similar footing to Karma; the Los Angeles-based producer has remixed tracks for the likes of Katy Perry, and Britney Spears, and worked on shows such as American Idol, America’s Got Talent, and World Of Dance.

Sy Smith ft. DominiqueXavier – ‘Feeling Good’

Pioneering Los Angeles nu-soul scene artist Sy Smith has been doing her thing for more than a decade, with five solo albums and collaborations with icons like Zo!, The Foreign Exchange, and Phonte. She’s also turned her talents to acting, with spots on ‘How I Met Your Mother’, and ‘American Dad’, treating these with the same passion as she does with her music. Everything she touches turns to gold, no less so than her new single and video, ‘Feeling Good’, which features DominiqueXavier, who’s tickled the ivories for Prince, MonoNeon, and Snoh Aalegra, among others.

Porsha – ‘Genie In A Bottle’

A native of Ruby, South Carolina, Porsha has been heavily involved in music since childhood, singing in the church choir, and songwriting as a teenager. She developed – and defeated – colon cancer, and although it meant she had to put her promising career on pause, she picked it up again as soon as she had the all clear. Still maintaining her faith in God, who she believes got her through the difficult times, Porsha published her first book, ‘A Girl With A Troubled Life’, at the age of 18, to share her strength with those that could be going through the same experiences. Now, Porsha has teamed up with the production company Fi-Water Music and producer Michael Brooks to get her music out to the masses, and ‘Genie In A Bottle’ is her latest R&B offering.
