Cleveland-Based MC Dave Zup Releases Debut Album ‘Oh, It’s Going’

Cleveland hip hop/pop artist Dave Zup started in music from a young age. His musician father encouraged his creative ability very early on, and Dave was exposed to a wide assortment of his father’s records, which included artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, The Commodores, and La Soul, and was spurred on to develop an interest in writing his own lyrics. He joined a youth theatre, and started developing his love for performance. By the time he was in high school, Dave had been recording himself over beats he’d found online, or had made with his friends.

Shaniah Paige – ‘Mysterious Boy’

Named after Shania Twain, Shaniah Paige, from Monmouth, Illinois, was almost destined from birth for a life as a country music singer, and developed a passion for the genre at an early age. Shaniah took every opportunity to perform in local theatre productions, and then, at the age of 15, started work with multi-platinum music producer Andrew Lane, known for his work on High School Musical, and Hannah Montana. Shaniah’s latest single, ‘Mysterious Boy’, was released on November 14.

Shane Palko – ‘Staring Out The Window’

Originally from Pennsylvania, Shane Palko was first handed a guitar at the age of 6, and quickly joined two of his older brothers in search of telling a story through its strings and his voice. He’s had an unusual life – was brought up in a forest and spent much of the past decade touring the world – and so it’s no wonder the 28 year old indie folk/rock musician has such an incredible artistic vision. His song, ‘Staring Out The Window’, was born while visiting Uganda.
