With the video for her latest single, ‘Take Me Down’, she’s chosen to address a different fantasy altogether, this time of a martial arts master and deadly swords-woman. With first a mermaid – the siren of the sea luring unwary seamen to their doom – and now a kick-ass ninja, you get the feeling that Friedman doesn’t suffer fools gladly.
