Stef Chura – ‘Scream’

‘Midnight’, the second album from Stef Chura, has only been out for a short while, and yet is being declared to be among the very best albums of this year. ‘Midnight’ delivers on the promise Stef showed on her debut project, her 2017 release ‘Messes’, which saw Pitchfork praise her commanding presence and self-assurance. New single, ‘Scream’, although a mere two minutes long, contains more musical ideas, attitude, and fierceness than most entire albums do.

Broke Royals – ‘Saint Luxury’

Their latest single, ‘Saint Luxury’, is no less relatable than any of the other of their songs we’ve written about over the years, which have included ‘As Long As I Can See’, ‘Higher’, ‘Bad Chemicals’, and their seasonal release from last year, ‘The Christmas Cookie Blues’.
