An award winning photographer, cinematic videographer, and singer-songwriter, Chicagoland artist Cupp is the full package, and his latest single, ‘Popcorn Swayze’, is sure to fill dance floors whenever it’s played.

Cupp was inspired from his nearly 2 decades of covering joyful wedding celebrations, and his song, ‘Popcorn Swayze’ takes the infectious energy of group dances, and blends it with inspiration from classic group dances such as Electric Slide, and The Hustle. Fusing modern electro-swing and dance-pop with a flair reminiscent of the swing era, ‘Popcorn Swayze’ additionally sees the possible introduction of Popcorn Swayze as a character in his own right.
Joshua Amos Cupp, known creatively as Cupp, started making rap videos in Florida, and his sound has since evolved across genres, which currently spans folk-EDM, country-pop, alternative rock, hip-hop, and R&B. With ‘Popcorn Swayze’ Cupp wrote all the lyrics, performed the vocals, and produced the song himself, in his Chicagoland studio.
Cupp released his debut full length album, ‘One The Beginning’ this year, and his musical catalogue includes the intimate, ‘Moving’, a heartfelt chronicle of his own marriage, along with singles such as, ‘Only Seventeen’, ‘Open Wide’, and ‘Stark Contrast’.
