Marc Biala Is Feeling ‘Glitchy + Bitchy’ With New Disco-Pop Release

Out now, ‘Glitchy + Bitchy’ is the latest release from Marc Biala, an artist out of Austin. The track is skilfully infused with a disco rhythm, while its dancefloor appeal is augmented with humour, and a light, carefree energy.

Working in collaboration with producer, Prod Tae, the track came together quickly, with Biala, who is also a psychiatric and transgender specialist, co-writing the vocal melody into a lighthearted piece, the lyrics drawn from everyday observations and his conversations in real life.

All the lead vocals were recorded by Biala in his home studio, while guest vocalist Ms Antonia Fountain made her contributions, thusly adding her distinct character. Final mixing was by Audio Animals.

Marc Biala started writing as a form of healing and self-expression after the loss of his brother, 3 years ago, who had himself been a musician. This therapeutic process diverged into a multifaceted sound, fusing pop, hip-hop, R&B, Latin urban, electronic, along with experimental elements. Combining honesty, humour, sensuality, and his lived experience, Marc Biala’s music has found a place in the LGBT community. His album, ‘Gay Summer 3.14’, celebrates summer and queer joy, while, ‘Snowfall Serenade: A Christmas Celebration’ takes contemporary festive tunes and imbues them with nostalgic warmth.

‘Glitchy + Bitchy’ is out now and can be streamed and downloaded here. You can find out more about Marc Biala and his music online on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Spotify, and Apple Music.
