Written by Tony Schillinger, ‘Ghosts In Sunlight’ is an extremely catchy collaboration that uses both human creativity and AI technology. The song’s focus is on those dreams and memories that are fractured and lost, and no matter how hard we try, it’s impossible for us to fully recapture them. Lyrics such as “dreams that slipped away” and “all we find are broken lines” express the distress at losing those memories. Nonetheless, ‘Ghosts In Sunlight’ is overall a positive song, with further lines, like, “We find our love trapped behind crumbled walls” showing that it’s truly about living life to its fullest, despite obstacles we may encounter.

The ParkerJax AI DJ project sees Schillinger’s lyrics blended with AI-generated compositions and vocals, with the end result being tracks that are high quality, while truly pushing the boundaries of sound. Speaking about the project. Schillinger says,

“We pride ourselves on delivering music that inspires creativity”.

From Montana, USA, Tony Schillinger started out on his musical journey with singing and poetry, following a job as an extra and photo double in the film, ‘Powwow Highway’, in 1989. He followed this with a three month tour throughout Europe, where he performed at summer festivals. Advances in AI technology paired easily Schillinger’s life-long love of dark-themed art, music, and film, giving him a way to create fully realised songs with his deeply personal lyrics.
