Set for release on the 21st of March, ‘Falling Back To You’ is the deeply personal new single from Queensland Australia artist, Luke Harrison.
‘Falling Back To You’ is available to pre-save here.
Still only 20 years old, Luke Harrison has been making waves in his native Australia, which has already seen him perform at the age of 13 at Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony in 2018, held on Australia’s Gold Coast, alongside Aussie icons such as singer songwriter and Aboriginal activist Archie Roach, and opera singer Greta Bradman.
Since then, this gifted singer, who has been enchanting audiences from a very early age, has performed the Australian National Anthem at high-profile events, and starred in musicals such as ‘The Sound of Music’, and ‘We Will Rock You’, as well as performing on stages from Brisbane to as far afield as Los Angeles. Additionally, Luke last year was nominated for Rising Star of the Year at the 10th Annual Josie Awards at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
Luke’s new single, ‘Falling Back To You’, was recorded at Analog Heart Records, and produced by Stuart Stuart, known for his work with Sheppard, The Veronicas, Dean Lewis, and Luke Kernaghan, among others. Set against a pop piano instrumental, Luke’s voice is allowed to rise and take precedence, and the track serves as a showcase of his abilities. His vocal delivery is sweetly raw and captivatingly authentic, and will pull in listeners with his haunting reflections on the bittersweet-ness of lost love, and the realisation of what could have been.
Speaking about the track, Luke said,
“This song is about losing someone and only then understanding how much they meant to you. It’s that ache of knowing I let her go too easily, second-guessing my choices, and feeling like we’re still meant to be together, even if she’s moved on.”
‘Falling Back To You’ was written from Luke’s own experiences, the lyrics flowing through him onto paper into just three days, and capture a story about a young man who is wrestling with his past, while at the same time finding strength in his own vulnerability.
‘Falling Back To You’ will be out on March 21 and is available to pre-save here. You can find out more about Luke Harrison and his music online on Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, and Apple Music.
