Moss And The Rainbows Drops ‘Byron Times’, The Infectious Follow Up To ‘Summer’s Dreaming’

A three minute journey of pure sunshine, ‘Byron Times’ is the new single from Moss And The Rainbows, the follow up to his debut anthem, ‘Summer’s Dreaming’.

Released on November 29, ‘Byron Times’ is available to stream and download here.

Breezy, uplifting, and full of fun, ‘Byron Times’ was written in a mere two days, and is based around open string guitar chords, along with a jazzy piano, lightly brushed drums, and the occasional clashing cymbal. The vocals are pleasant and dreamy, conjuring up visions of sitting on the beach chilling on a warm summer’s evening.

Moss first came up with the piano melody as he was taking a walk, and ended up humming it all the way home. The lyrics reflect his time spent in Australia’s Byron Bay, where he had an enjoyable time that included encounters with breaching whales, and pods of dolphins.

Moss And The Rainbows has been writing music since childhood, taking his inspiration from both his brother and the music of the 1990s. He started playing guitar, and while honing his skills on that, discovered a passion for music that led to the release of his debut single, ‘Summer’s Dreaming’, which he recorded in his home studio. This track, and new single, ‘Byron Times’, are just two from his upcoming album of mellow rock tunes, 90% of which he says is already written.
