Emerging RnB And Hip-Hop Artist Leon dc Finally Releases His Highly Anticipated Debut Single, ‘Leave’

Released on 10 March, ‘Leave’ is the debut single from emerging artist, Leon dc.

Deriving his stage name from his first name and his mother’s family name, da Costa, Leon’s musical journey has been driven by a passion which saw him leave conventional work life five years ago to follow his dreams. Despite not having any formal musical training, Leon dc’s genuine love for music shines through, and has enabled him to hone his craft, releasing tracks on SoundCloud, and now, finally, he’s reached the point of dropping music on all major streaming platforms.

‘Leave’ sees Leon dc blend both RnB and Hip Hop, and balance singing with rapping on a laid back beat and synthesised instrumental. Leon has poured his heart and soul into ‘Leave’, working on the track for a few months, producing, mixing, mastering, and recording it all himself in his home studio. It’s clear that he has drawn, at least initially, inspiration from the likes of Travis Scott, Drake, and J. Cole, but rather than being a derivative work, ‘Leave’ has a soul all of its own, and leaves us very excited for what Leon dc has in store for us in the future.

‘Leave’ is out now and is available to stream and download here. You cna find out more about Leon dc and his music online on InstagramTwitterFacebook and Spotify.
