BORIS BALKAN Bites Back At The Rise Of AI With Latest Single, ‘RULIAD’

Released on January 24, ‘RULIAD’ is the latest track from rapidly rising DJ and producer BORIS BALKAN. The Australian artist has been a successful industrialist and is now moving to become an innovator in the House and Techno scenes.

The title of the track is a reference to a mathematical term, and BALKAN’s intent is to challenge the rapid expansion of AI and machine learning, by providing something that computers cannot – the human spirit. At just under 6 minutes long, ‘RULIAD’ is an interesting mix of industrial and Techno sounds, and listeners will find themselves deeply immersed before they know it.

Reminiscent of London-based Sonarpilot, BORIS BALKAN’s ‘RULIAD’ easily lends itself to imaginary flights of fantasy, and would be a great addition to any film set in a dystopian, or apocalyptic time.

Choosing his name from that of the primary antagonist in 1999 horror film, ‘The Ninth Gate’, BORIS BALKAN’s aim is to create dance tracks, with the mindset that, “everyone needs a house party”. With ‘RULIAD’, he’s certainly well and truly on his way to achieving that goal.
