‘Glass Ceiling’ Is The New, Invigorating, Motivational Anthem From Prolific Artist Kaysien

Released yesterday, July 5, ‘Glass Ceiling’, from British singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer/engineer Kaysien, manages to channel into our very human connection to consciousness, awareness, and nature itself.

Kaysien has been in the music business for a number of years, but, coming from a family with a long history as singers, poets, actors, entertainers, and music makers, he says that it’s part of his genetic makeup.

While his real name is Seb Stone, the artist chose the name Kaysien was chosen to honour his mixed race heritage of Black Indo-Caribbean and White British. Working out of his home studio in West London, he collaborated with a number of independent artists, cutting hundreds of tracks, before setting out on his own individual musical journey. He started off by playing bass, writing lyrics, and singing, before expanding into guitar, drums, piano, and production.

New single, ‘Glass Ceiling’, follows on from the 2020 hit, ‘Raksha’, and last year’s release, ‘Portals’. ‘Glass Ceiling’ is reminiscent of Phil Collins-era Genesis, with its pounding drums, primal bassline, and catchy refrain. With incredible energy, it is impossible to resist stomping your feet and dancing hard to ‘Glass Ceiling’, with its theme of overcoming the toughest of obstacles, and smashing through any glass ceiling that might hold us back.

Kaysien takes the opportunity to show off his talents on this track, not only singing every vocal line, but also playing every instrument, and recording and producing the track himself.

‘Glass Ceiling’ is out now and is available to stream and download here. Find out more about Kaysien and his music online on his official website, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Spotify, and YouTube.
