Alexion Releases Situationship Anthem With New EP, ‘No Strings Attached’

Out now, ‘No Strings Attached’ is the new EP from Alexion. The prolific RnB artist takes his inspiration from a range of past relationship experiences, the result being both incredibly enjoyable and relatable.

Taking clear inspiration from the likes of Drake, Alexion’s smooth vocals float mellifluously over a laid back instrumental. The 4 track EP, opening with ‘Do U Right’, draws the listener in from the very first note.

The artist, who comes from Sweden, has ensured his place in the music scene with his well-crafted lyrics and velvelty vocals. Alexion’s motto, “Be confident, be yourself, and say how you feel”, is echoed in second track, ‘No Title//Jump Up’, where he is very open about his feelings for his love interest.

The first three songs on ‘No Strings Attached’ are openly and unashamedly love songs – setting the EP up to be added to many romantic playlists. Track 3, ‘Sex & Drink’, is certainly one to turn the lights down and get low with. When you reach track 4, ‘Stick It’ however, the mood is ramped up a little, a more trap influenced track, higher velocity than the others.

‘No Strings Attached’ is out now and can be streamed and downloaded here.
