Je’Nai Guides Us The ‘Right Way’ With Motivational New Single

Out now, ‘Right Way’ is the funky new track from Je’Nai. With a summer sound that has just the right amount of Southern California vibe, it’s a track that bubbles over with positivity and plenty of good vibes. ‘Right Way’ also has a great music video, which sees the artist skating with her friends and taking in the rays down at the beach.

Southern California’s beaches are edged by promenades that the locals use to keep fit and healthy. The fresh air, sun, sand and sunshine are the perfect prescription, and with a song like ‘Right Way’ to hum along to as you’re there, your spirits are automatically lifted up.

‘Right Way’ came to Je’Nai one afternoon, when she hummed a simple melody. From there she turned her emotions into words, and the fusion of funk, soul, and pop came into being. Speaking of the motivational track, Je’Nai said,

“The song is about succeeding as an underdog. Its lyrics are about empowerment, trust, perseverance, and believing in yourself…especially concerning women, minorities, and the LGBTQ community”.

The music video for ‘Right Way’ blends upbeat Southern California vibes with bubblegum pop colours as we see Je’Nai skate along the boardwalk with her friends, as well as working out in the privacy of her own room. Je’Nai’s vocals are also sunshiney, and combined with the catchy melody it’s guaranteed that you’ll be humming ‘Right Way’ for quite some time, if only to recapture some of those long hot days of summer.
