‘She Is A Star’: Marïe Pratt Releases New Single, Including Both Radio Edit And Extended Version

Spoiling fans with not just a radio edit, but also an extended version, Barcelona-based Marïe Pratt returns with her new single, ‘She Is A Star’.

‘She Is A Star’ is out now, and available to stream and download here.

An empowering track ‘She Is A Star’ was written with the aim of encouraging all those women with a dream, and give them the inspiration to shine. With a clear influence from Alicia Keys (and indeed, one of her previous releases was a cover of ‘Empire State Of Mind’), Marïe Pratt wrote the R&B track in honour of her own sister, who is one of those very women with a dream, and the lines,

“And I wish she could see herself the way I look at her, cause I think she’s not fighting for her dreams and she should realize that she is a star”

are Marïe speaking directly to her; nonetheless, all other women can likewise take them on board as their own mantra.

‘She Is A Star’ was recorded at Bucbonera Studios, and was produced by Jeff Santana, and sound engineer Tomas Robisco. Marïe’s vocals are pure and cultured, a delight to listen to. ‘She Is A Star’ follows on from previous 2022 singles, ‘Estic vivint!’ and ‘Sobreviurem!’, as well as her EPs, ‘My Second Chance’, and ‘Vivint’. She won a contest for one of her covers, and has played at a number of venues around Spain. Her fanbase, which is on the rise, can look forward to a new EP soon.
