Meresha Is Riding Into ‘Trouble’ With The Incredible Video For Her New Song

Meresha heads to the pylons in Miami’s Little Haiti, looking for ‘Trouble’, and she certainly finds it in her latest single.

While if we were of a mind to be looking for trouble, we might decide to hit the clubs, or perhaps an after hours take-away, or a corner store. Meresha however is clearly a far braver soul, and in the video for ‘Trouble’ she takes her search to the pylons under one of Miami’s elevated highways. Here she encounters a man who hands her a card that tells her exactly what she wants. Trouble soon follows her in the disco and out on the street, where she rides a gorgeous bicycle that we’re currently lusting after. At no time however does she lose control; on the contrary, it just makes her even more hungry for adventure.

‘Trouble’ gives Meresha the opportunity to show off her considerable vocal chops, in this part tropical, part Euro-electronic track. She calls her sound “Alien Pop”, and her voice soars to the stratosphere, and certainly teases that it’s from off-Earth. Matching her vocals to a synth groove and a thumping percussion, Meresha delivers with confidence and ensures ‘Trouble’ is a catchy and eminently replayable track.
