LacaƱgan Releases His Latest Single, ‘Cool’

Set for release this Friday, March 18, ‘Cool’ is the latest single from San Diego artist, LacaƱgan. You can pre-save the track here.

With a sound that will remind the listener of Michael Jackson, ‘Cool’ is infused with soulful vocals, as well as R&B instrumentation, as LacaƱgan explores how vulnerable we become when we’re exposed to love. He explains that he was once numb to love, and felt “closed up”, no longer desiring to share his heart. Since then however he’s decided to take a chance once more on love, and the expression of his re-ignited passion is conveyed in ‘Cool’, with which he hopes to “make history”.

‘Cool’ was co-written by LacaƱgan alongside Andre Taylor, and producer Levester White, all of whom additionally contributed to the recording process.

Besides Michael Jackson, LacaƱganĀ has found himself compared to Bruno Mars, with his sound, which he describes as “a popular brand of pop and soul partnered with infectious melodies”.

LacaƱganĀ started gaining recognition in the early 2000s, and is a well-known figure in the San Diego music scene, and has been nominated for three music awards. He previously toured under the name Marz Jukebox, and performed alongside Katy Perry, BSlade, Kansas, and Kirk Franklin, among others. Rebranding as LacaƱganĀ in 2020, he and his musical partners founded “SISU COLLECTIVE” with the aim of helping entrepreneurs and creatives release their vision. LacaƱgan’s motto, and message to the world is, “Love Matters” – I think we can all live by that.

You can support LacaƱganĀ and his music online on Instagram,Ā Facebook,Ā Twitter,Ā his official Website,Ā Sisu, Spotify,Ā Apple Music,Ā SoundCloud, andĀ YouTube.
