Esmae Releases New Single, ‘Had It All’

UK singer songwriter Esmae has had a great year so far, and looks set to round it off on a high with her new single, ‘Had It All’.

You can stream and download ‘Had It All’ here.

Esmae released her debut single earlier this year, and has so far achieved huge support across all digital streaming media, including more than 56,000 streams on Spotify alone, and over 500,000 on SoundCloud, and YouTube. Additionally, she has been featured by BBC Introducing, and her song, ‘Revolution’, was adopted as the national campaign song by the charity, CEO Sleepout.

Esmae channels her extensive life experiences into her lyrics, and while her music has distinct pop sensibilities, she draws upon her love of old-school R&B and new-school dance for her music to produce a unique and timeless sound.

Esmae started writing her songs at the age of 16, and each one is a look into Esmae’s life, allowing her listeners to go on a refreshingly relatable journey via her music.

The organic and heartfelt, ‘Had It All’, came together in one session, with Esmae saying that once she started writing, she couldn’t stop. The track focuses on the painful reality of walking away from a relationship which to her seemed to have the unrealised potential of being everything.

Thankfully, Esmae finds comfort in sharing her music with her audience, and she feels more confident about releasing the songs she has written, and letting them be heard. Esmae is set to release her 5-track debut EP, ‘Do Better’, which will hopefully do as well as – even better than – her previous releases.

You can find out more about Esmae and her music online on Facebook, Instagram, SoundCloud, Spotify, and Apple Music.
