Amelia Wray Releases Debut Single, ‘Moved On’

You may already know Amelia Wray from the Disney show, ‘Sydney To The Max’, where she played Sophia. But now she’s stepping into the world of music, and has released her debut single, ‘Moved On’, and with gorgeous vocals and catchy riffs, we wonder why she’s taken this long to do it!

Amelia has been acting, singing and dancing since she was six years old, doing Jr. Civic Theatre, and commercial work. She’s also one of the leads in the upcoming film, ‘Entanglement’, which comprises a series of short films, and is set for release next year. Amelia’s short is entitled, ‘Isolation In Lockdown’.

With a pop country vibe, ‘Moved On’ gives the listener a Gwen Stefani vibe, one of Amelia’s inspirations, as well as Olivia Rodrigo, and Clairo. Her vocals are strong and sweet, and are matched well to a guitar-heavy instrumental, as well as powerful percussion. It’s in the last third of the song, when the instruments drop away and Amelia sings alone, that we hear the true emotion of her vocals; and along with her relatable lyrics, she is able to capture the hearts and ears of her listeners.

‘Moved On’ is out November 13 and available to pre-save here. You can find out more about Amelia Wray and her music online on Facebook and Instagram.
