The Feels Release Debut Single ‘Your Mind’

Out now, ‘Your Mind’ is the debut single from Long Island New York based duo, The Feels. Released on 1 October, the track blends all the musical influences of the pair, with the end result a beautifully crafted pop-esque track.

The Feels, comprising Danny Ayala and Andy Bellereau, aim to create music which will lift people’s souls and get them dancing. Just like their name, they want people to get “the feels” when they listen to the band’s music. Describing themselves as “Edgy, Sophisticated, Classy, Sexual”, The Feels came up with the concept for the duo at the start of 2020, and kept working on it throughout the pandemic.

The pair have been involved in music their entire lives, with Danny, a graduate in music composition, was previously a member of The Lemon Twigs, and currently tours with rock band Sunflower Bean. He also had his own project, Dr. Danny and the Patients. Meanwhile Andy brings technical know-how to the band, coming from a production background. They match Danny’s voice and natural star quality to the production and swagger of Andy, as well as their respective bombast and stoic cool.

The Feels credit The Weeknd as their primary inspiration, while they have also pulled influence from other iconic artists, such as Michael Jackson. ‘Your Mind’ is poppy, fun, and all-encompassing of a wide range of genres.
