Ebere Releases Latest Single, ‘Azunna’

Afro-pop sensation Ebere has released her new single, ‘Azunna’. Although the story of the upbeat and extremely catchy song is entirely a work of fiction, it nonetheless has deep meaning for Ebere, and was born out of passion, and of giving it your all in a relationship.

The UK-Based Nigerian singer & songwriter started making music officially in 2013, and takes her artist name from the name given to her by her father on his deathbed. From such an emotional start, it’s no surprise therefore that emotion and love make up an integral part of Ebere’s sound.

Writing ‘Azunna’ brought out a flood of emotions for Ebere. While essentially ‘Azunna’ is about passionate love, for Ebere it is also about her love for her culture, as well as the intense love and joy she feels for the time she spent living in an Eastern Nigerian village. ‘Azunna’ captures the beauty and excitement of love and life, and Ebere shares it with an evident euphoria.

Ebere released her debut album this year, and has since received support from radio stations and blogs including Brackley Community Radio, Ipswich Community Radio, and BBC Radio Suffolk.

‘Azunna’ is available to stream and download here. You can find out more about Ebere and her music online on Facebook, Twitter, InstagramSpotify, and Apple Music.
