Songstress Betta Lemme has recently dropped her stunning new single titled “Ce Stir.” The track is now available to stream via all major streaming platforms!
After the success of her previous singles “Cry” and viral sensation “Bambola,” Betta Lemme is slowly making her mark on the music industry. “Ce Soir” is the new addition to her list of releases. With every song that she has put out in to the world, she is undoubtedly carving her own signature sound of electronic-tinged pop music. This new single is just a sneak peak of what is to come later in the year.
“Ce Soir” was co-written and co-produced with STOLAR who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Aloe Blacc, Trevor Daniel, and Selena Gomez. In such a short space of time, Betta allows you access to her daydreams about a distant partner as she longs for connection. This past year has made the singer realise the importance of being wrapped in the arms of a loved one – something that a Zoom call does not do justice.
When speaking of the track, Bella Lemme explains;
“I’ve been spending this never-ending lockdown in Montreal with some serious curfews for the past year and a half. At one point when shops opened up, I wanted to give myself a little gift for surviving both this lockdown and myself simultaneously. So I bought these glittery Gucci socks that made wearing tracksuits in the house all week a little less mundane. As it turns out, materialism wasn’t doing the trick. On a night where crying seemed like my newfound and mastered hobby, and overthinking became my full time job, I pretended this little Gucci box was my friend and asked her if she could ‘flip this frown.’ In that moment, material goods became insignificant, a thing I’ve known all along. This song is about letting those daydreams free and realizing that the only thing that will bring meaning to these things is enjoying them with the one you love. I wanted to have fun with loneliness and remind myself that some of the lowest points always bring us the perspective that we need.”
Within every song that she releases, she tells you a personal story that you can connect to instantly. She does this with relatable lyrics and dreamlike melodies that will have you hooked in an instant. They will put you in a sort of trance, or the electronic-dance elements will make you get up off your feet and let the music do it’s thing! Either way, her music is easy to get lost into.
