In an exclusive interview for PageSix’s ‘We Hear’ podcast, Sharknado star Tara Reid spoke about life in quarantine in Los Angeles. She revealed that not only is she sharing her lockdown with her boyfriend, but also her best friends, John and Edward, aka Jedward, who have an apartment in the same building as her.
Norwegian trio Rat City are as unusual as their name. They’ve got the style and swagger required to ensure immediate success, and are more than just a household name in their home country, where they have held the place for #1 record on the radio and the Top 10 Spotify in Norway, as well as being on the Top 5 Shazam for over ten weeks. Their new single, ‘Deliriously Good’ does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s good. Deliriously so.

The Internet has definitely taken a hold of most of our lives, and ultimately it’s up to us to decide if we’re going to let it rule our lives, or embrace it and let it work for us. The latter is certainly the case for Unintended Strangers, an indie/folk duo comprising Robert Griffin in the US, and Chloe Danz, of New Zealand, who after a chance meeting online back in November 2017 decided to join forces as a musical project.

Not gonna lie; its been quite a low key week for me. I’ve currently saving super hard for my trip to Baltimore next month among other exciting things but it really has got me thinking about things happening. I realised that unless the occasion involves alcohol I’m often not partial to attendance. I spent Thursday & Friday drinking away at the local pub; drinking the night away with colleagues and smoking just a little too much. We’ll look back on these occasions with such fondness, even if they do end with myself jumping into the back of a cab enroute to a hook up I 100% should not be pursuing.
I had the absolute pleasure of catching ‘Benidorm Live’ this week; a live version of the hit TV show written by Derren Litten. The show translates to stage perfectly; it’s essentially like this mini pantomime…it’s funny, it’s ambitious, it’s tongue-in-chic and it featured my favourite characters from the season – the wonderful Joyce Temple-Savage played by Sherrie Hewson, is elegant and hysterical and commands the stage!
The members of Santa Monica band Cayucas enlisted Sean Solomon, art director of FOX TV show, ‘Lucas Brothers Moving Co’ to make a video for their new song, ‘Jessica WJ’. The track has already racked up over a million Spotify streams since its release late last year, and the video is the perfect addition, underscoring the wit and freshness of the track.
Irish singer songwriter and musician, Jamie Harrison, has cracked the 1.3 million mark on Spotify with his most recent single, ‘Spent So Long’. It’s also making waves on the international scene, and has found its way to several key global Spotify playlists, including Soft Vinter, Casa De Casa and Autumn Leaves, and charting in the Top 50 of Italy’s Spotify Charts, as well as picking up major traction in Sweden and the US.
