Metro Atlanta rapper Frank Hugo knows what it’s like to be pulled and torn apart by the court system, no matter whether the defendant is innocent or guilty. He was released from jail last year, and is currently waiting for for trial. Born Quincy Jamar Fluker, Frank Hugo is doing it hard, but he knows he’s got it good compared to others.
He’s an entrepreneur, and philanthropist, and he’s overseen 5 annual back to school drives, sponsored 5 annual feed the community events, and has a strong connection with his community, on top of being the CEO and executive music producer for his label. Additionally, he’s a real estate investor, personal trainer, event promoter, and a tax accountant at his own firm, which he’s had for nearly 10 years.
Although he’s on a court-ordered curfew, he’s allowed to take flights, so long as he’s home in time. He’s able to spend quality time with his daughter, and he’s got a whole array of supercars to choose from. So even though he’s doing it hard, he’s not doing it that hard. He knows he’s done wrong, but he’s working hard at sorting himself out and turning his dreams into reality.
The music video for Hugo’s latest single, ‘Count It Up’, starts out with everything he’s done, and doesn’t stint on his crimes; he knows he’s done wrong. It’s bold and extravagant, and unapologetically so.
