Emma Blackery has released her brand new single ‘Cute Without You’ through RWG Records. The empowering pop anthem is the first taste of new music from the Essex-born singer since the release of her critically acclaimed debut album ‘Villains’ last year.
Regarding the single Emma says,
“’Cute Without You’ is a song I wrote based on a past relationship and is hands down my favourite song I’ve ever written.”
Emma produced the track alongside Toby Scott (Little Mix, Girls Aloud, The Saturdays), who was also behind Emma’s debut album ‘Villains’.
The album saw Emma hit the top 25 of the UK charts and the Billboard ‘Heat Seekers’ Top 20, while it has been streamed close to 4 million times. Its release saw her featured in Radio 1’s ‘Best New Pop’ selection and also support from the likes of Metro, The Observer, Shout, Balance and many more.
Emma completed an extensive headline tour in support of ‘Villains’, which saw her sell out shows across the UK and Europe, finishing with a sold out headline show at London’s KOKO.
With support coming from across the board, 2018 was the year Emma Blackery blossomed from an internet sensation into a true popstar to be reckoned with; a status she is only set to strengthen throughout this year.
