South Korean girl group, Blackpink, release their highly anticipated new EP, ‘Kill This Love’ today, on YG Entertainment/Interscope Records. This comes ahead of their performance at Coachella next week, which will be followed by their 9 date North American tour, with dates in 5 US States, plus Ontario, Canada.

Blackpink’s appearance at Coachella will make them the first ever K-Pop girl group to grace the stage at the festival. They will immediately follow up the performance with the North American leg of their world tour, featuring sold-out dates in Los Angeles, Chicago, Newark, Atlanta, Fort Worth, and Hamilton, Ontario.
Blackpink first emerged onto the music scene in 2016, having been discovered by YG Entertainment. They comprise Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé. They are the first K-pop girl group to perform a world tour with a live band.
With their very catchy single, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, Blackpink shattered the record for the highest charting Billboard Hot 100 debut by an all-female K-Pop act, surpassing 10 million views in just 6 hours, and a staggering 36.2 million views in one day. After releasing ‘Square Up’ in June 2018, which shot to the 40th spot on the Billboard 200, and #1 on the Billboard World Albums chart, YG Entertainment and Interscope Records announced a global partnership for Blackpink, thereby paving the way for the group’s international trajectory.
