Jaguar Dreams Release A Stripped Back Version Of ‘Mean Somethin’ And It’s Lush

Jaguar Dreams have gone back into the studio and crafted some absolute gems – once again! This time it’s the gorgeous ‘Mean Somethin’ which was released yesterday: a lush and stripped back interpretation of their song which they released last year.

The Jaguar Dreams guys have gone into the studio in North Carolina to just have a bit of a mess around, but look what they’ve come up with! This take on the previously disco funk ‘Mean Somethin’ is just absolute joy – the rich vibrant tones of the vocals really stand out [thanks to my Hub for that line – Ed.].

The track has been stripped right down using a beautiful 70s Fender Rhodes, and along with the Roland Juno-106, which apparently they always have on hand with them, they put this together in one take. How much talent do Jaguar Dreams have? I cry at how much.

You can find Jaguar Dreams on YouTube, SoundCloud, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Stream and download ‘Mean Somethin’ here.
