Liily – ‘Toro’

Liily are from LA and hail the resurrection of feverish, chaotic, and hard rock, with a sound which harks back the 90s. Their new single, ‘Toro’, was released this summer, and is the result of a number of years experimentation with their sound.

Comprising five members, Liily are Maxx Morando on drums, Sam De La Torre on guitar, Charlie Anastasis on bass, Aaron Reeves on guitar, and Dylan on lead vocals.

Liily’s sound, a raw passionate fire, feels familiar, but somehow different, a positive sound, with its roots in indie culture but its soul in rock. They remind us of early Foo Fighters, and Rage Against The Machine, and if ‘Toro’ is anything to go by, their EP, also titled ‘Toro’, is definitely one to look forward to.

The video for ‘Toro’ sees blurry shots, fast transitions, and a whole lot of headbanging. For guys whose oldest member is still only 19, they’ve got the attitude and sound of long-term rockstars.

Check out Liily online on their official website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Stream and download ‘Toro’ from iTunes and Spotify. Check out their tour dates on their website.
