Goldfinch Studios have announced that ‘Mad To Be Normal’, the critically acclaimed biopic will be released on VOD on 13th August. ‘Mad To Be Normal’ sees David Tennant play the controversial figure, Dr RD Laing, as he practices his unorthodox methods in his pursuit of better understanding and treating mental health.
Tennant (Doctor Who) stars as 1960s celebrity psychiatrist RD Laing who revolutionised the treatment of people diagnosed as ‘mad’. ‘Mad to Be Normal’ reveals the story of RD Laing, the famous psychiatrist and one of Scotland’s greatest ever minds.
