Markus Schulz & Emma Hewitt – ‘Safe From Harm’

Markus Schulz and Emma Hewitt have collaborated on the new single, ‘Safe From Harm’, a heart pounding dance ballad. Two of the biggest names in EDM working together on a track which is guaranteed to be dance heaven.

Markus Schulz is a German-American DJ and Producer, with two decades of work under his belt. The host of Global DJ Broadcast radio show, as well as the owner of Coldharbour Recordings, and Schulz Music Group, he’s based in Miami, Florida. Schulz was named America’s Number 1 DJ in 2012 by ‘DJ Times’, and followed that up in 2013 with his collaboration with Dutch Ferry Corsten, a project named New World Punx.

Emma Hewitt is a singer songwriter from Geelong, Victoria, Australia. She was plucked as a teenager by Sony Music from her band, Missing Hours, and quickly learned the ins and outs of the music business. Her songs were stripped of their meaning and transformed into “products”: Emma left Sony, deciding enough was enough. She found her feet with EDM, collaborating with UK artist Chris Lake on their song, ‘Carry Me Away’. The track knocked Britney Spears off the top spot on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay charts, and spent an unprecedented 50+ weeks in the top 100.

Both at the peak of their respective careers, Schulz and Hewitt will surely make plenty of waves in the EDM communtiy with their track, ‘Safe from Harm‘. The accompanying video is a cinematic masterpiece, shot in a beautiful tropical paradise. The colours are as vibrant and striking as the song itself – iridescent blues and greens, high definition footage, gorgeous scenes of beaches, yachts, para-gliders, beach huts, and windmills. Stunning.
