UK singer songwriter James Walker will release his debut album, ‘English Bones’, on 17 November 2027, via Wild Native Records.
Produced by Sam Winfield, best known for his work with Amber Run, Dry The River, and Supergrass, the album features ten tracks, including ‘Lullaby’, ‘Weathered’, and his most recent single, ‘2009’.
James Walker has toured Europe extensively as a pianist, co-writer, and collaborator for Adam Barnes, and began creating his own work, inspited by his experiences of love and hearbreak, as well as finding his identity within the LGBT+ community, as well as recovery and rehabilitation from a rare heart condition. James takes his influences primarily from Conor Oberst, The Weepies, and Damien Rice, but also Foxing, Pavement, and Tigers Jaw. In the past year he has performed over 200 shows, taking in the UK, Europe, and the USA.
James has just returned from an extensive two month European tour with Matt Phillips and Judy Blank, and will once more head out with Adam Barnes this month. Next spring sees him returning to the US, where he will be supporting the launch of Matt Phillips’ new album, and touring the East Coast.
‘English Bones’ is a collection of songs James Walker has written over the past eighteen months, and will be available from all major music retailers.
