Her previous Christmas release, ‘December Daze’, was a resounding success, and so bearing that in mind she’s released a new EP for Christmas called, ‘Little Lights’. It features four original songs, and two classic covers. The EP captures a range of feelings associated with Christmas: a perfect orb of light and emotion. In speaking of the EP, Janet says,

“’Little Lights’ is a slightly darker, more mellow venture into this special time of year.[space height=”10″]I wanted to acknowledge that it’s not always eggnog and wrapping paper, and that there are other, more contemplative emotions kindled at Christmas time.”

Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, ‘Little Lights’ was produced by the award winning Graeme Pleeth and mastered by Christian Wright. Janet is currently halfway through her ‘My Opium’ tour, and the EP is nicely timed to coincide with that.
