This year’s Portmeirion Festival saw a tricky time battling with the weather changes in the sky. From closing car parks to flooded tents, Festival No 6 contended with Mother Nature.
Friday’s performances were a collection of talents including, Kelvin Jones (Lost in The Woods), George T (Castell Gardens), Maribou Stage LIVE (Grand Pavilion), The Magnetic North (Lost in The Woods), Aurora, Bastille, and special guests, Kaiser Chiefs (Main Stage).
Visually, the festival has a dynamic that others miss, the stages are individual and super cool. Check out The Floating Stage.
Even though the Welsh weather offered up its usual precipitation in the form of muddy Wellingtons and damp blow-dried hair, festival-goers were still in high spirits.
As well as the musical talents of various acclaimed artists, the festival boasts comedic treats.
Enter The Royal Family’s Ricky Tomlinson and Johnny Vegas, who performed Saturday in The Gatehouse.
The sold-out festival was a stunning display of colourful buildings, decorated forests and vintage style bunting, which came together to form the fifth year running of this bespoke experience.
