NATIVES APPEARING AS SPECIAL HEADLINE GUESTS IN ASSOCIATION WITH 1883 MAGAZINE & RADIO X

LOOK OUT: UK SEPTEMBER TOUR SUPPORTING MOTHXR

Natives have announced a special one-off London show at Cargo, Shoreditch on August 17th in association with 1883 Magazine and Radio X.

The show will be the first chance for fans to get a taste of new music from the New Forest tribal pop quartet’s upcoming second album. Mono Club, Mowbeck and Lola Cove will join Natives in support.

The show follows the recent release of ‘Stop The Rain’, the lead single from the band’s upcoming album, which will be released via LAB/The Santi Collective. Its accompanying video has clocked up well over 100K plays and is filmed in a variety of beautiful settings in Morocco.

Natives 2

It captures Natives’ recent trip to the country, an experience that proved hugely influential on the band’s new album, full details of which will be announced soon.

‘Stop The Rain’ sees Natives delivering an irresistible new pop sensibility with an enthralling and life-affirming message, and is the second instalment – following the release of ‘Chasing Lions’ in March – of what’s to come from the collective’s forthcoming 20-track concept album. An ambitious and remarkable record, it will be accompanied by a novel, furthering the story around which the album has been constructed.

Natives 3

Following their appearance at Cargo, Natives will be heading out on tour with Brooklyn indie-rock collective MOTHXR in support of their September UK tour.

The eight-date run will kick off at Manchester’s Sound Control on September 3rd, call at London’s Dingwalls on September 8th and finish at Brighton’s The Green Door Store on September 10th .
