Brother Goose – ‘Lone Ranger’

Formed in 2012, Southampton five-piece Brother Goose are as yet undecided as to what genre their music fits into. But that doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things, which ultimately sees them conquering the world and converting everyone to the religion that is Brother Goose.

Having previously performed live sessions for BBC Radio Solent, BBC South Today and The Phil Jackson BBC Introducing Show in 2014 and Mint South they have found critics falling over themselves with superlatives for the band.

On top of a host of high profiled support slots with fellow Sotonian’s The Delays and other established artists such as Little Comets, Theme Park and King Charles, the band also won the Road to Blissfields Festival competition. On top of all this, last summer saw the band asked to write a song for the FA Vase Final, held at Wembley Stadium.

‘Lone Ranger’ is boppy and bouncy and reminiscent of the best of the 80s with its strong guitar sound. It’s accompanied by a fun video which leaves one wondering who on earth is going to clean up all those feathers…
