Brit pop stalwarts The Bluetones make their very welcome (slight) return to the live performance circuit this September, celebrating their 20th anniversary with an 8 gig tour starting on the 16th of that month, at Leeds’ O2 Academy.
Always an engaging and dynamic live outfit, The Bluetones made quite the name for themselves with a string of hits including, “Bluetronic”, “Slight Return”, “Marblehead Johnson” and “Solomon Bites the Worm”. The West-London quartet scored no less than 13 Top 40 singles and 3 Top 10 albums in the UK Charts. Comprising Mark Morriss (vox), Scott Morriss on bass, Adam Devlin on guitar, and drummer Eds Chesters, The Bluetones have played more than 10,000 shows in over 73 countries.
Promising their devoted army of fans a sensational tour this Autumn, O2 presale tickets will be available this Wednesday 15 April at 10am, with the Artist presale tickets the following day, also at 10am. Tickets on sale to the general public Friday 17th April (10am).
Prices will be £21 per person regionally, while London will be £23.
