The Irish twins John and Edward Grimes, better known as Jedward, continue to promote their highly anticipated fourth studio album, due for release later this year.
With the roaring (see what I did there?) success of lead track Free Spirit, they wasted no time and have leapt into promotion of the second single from the album, “Ferocious“.
Ferocious has been inspired by letters that Jedward have received from their fans, who have shared with them about the problems they have experienced. The lyrics show the twins’ philisophical side, and offer advice:
“Life is never easy
Don’t ever Pack it in
Deal with all the highs and lows
Don’t let them say you can’t”
With a music video shot in Los Angeles and in Arizona, it sees Jedward move in a new direction, away from their past. Good friend of the pair, American Pie and Sharknado actress Tara Reid, features in the video, which will be premiere exclusively on VEVO at the end of the month.
The song is beautiful – a blend of pop and dance, reminiscent of their hit song “Luminous”, from their 2011 album, “Young Love”.
Ferocious will be released this Friday, and is currently available to preorder on iTunes, Amazon, HMV and 7Digital.
We featured it the other day, but we can’t get enough of this live performance of “Ferocious” from Ireland’s The Saturday Night Show. So, until we have the official video, here’s “Ferocious”:
