Minneapolis rapper Samar knows that feeling; an advocate by nature – he’s not into it for money, or the clout it brings – he narrates his own stories in his lyrics, finding his motivation in his local environment. At first a breakdancer, then a b-boy, he’s now a rapper with a global quest and an unmatched track record.

The Forevers – ‘Frederique’ And ‘Rockets Fly’

With the promise of making “some damn good music to rock out to, score a date to & chill to after”, sibling duo The Forevers have a lot to live up to, but thankfully they’re good on their word. Comprising brother and sister Mikolaj Mick Jaroszyk and Natalia Safran, the pair got their start while growing up in Communist Poland, back in the 1980s, where their starving ears feasted on the music broadcast by pirate radio, and they were exposed to the Western rock and roll rebellion of the likes of Bruce Springsteen.

Artist Chucks Èhtréppär releases latest single ‘On Me’

Released on August 15, ‘On Me’ is the new single from Nigerian hip-hop and rap artist, Chucks Èhtréppär, and is from of his debut EP ‘Afro-Trap The First’. Chucks has been writing, recording, and releasing his own music from a very young age, and after going through a number of stage names, his latest takes its inspiration from Chance The Rapper, and indeed, his second name is “The Rapper” spelled in reverse, with accents added for effect.
