It then became a smash hit on both sides of the Atlantic when Soft Cell released it in 1981. Now, in the hands of Berlin’s Milky Chance, it’s been given a new lease on life, not merely bringing it into the 21st century, but making it sound like it’s a Milky Chance original.

Comprising Jack Frimston, Matt Pickersgill, and Aaron Murphy, the indie-pop trio are currently in the midst of their ‘Coffee House Sessions’ Tour, and will be performing in London on Friday 19 January, at Queen Mary University and University College London, and Sunday 21st, at Camden Market (3pm) and Paper Dress Vintage, Hackney at 6.30pm.
