Ahead of their much-anticipated 10th anniversary edition, featuring a star-studded line-up including, among many others, Cardi B, George Ezra, Solange, Migos, Khalid, and The Streets in their first festival performance in over 8 years – the popular Parklife Festival is going much beyond just offering brilliant music, as they aim to provide an environmentally friendly weekend for all party goers in their on-going campaign.

Dan Says – Week Four

This week has been a fairly active one… it’s quite literally flown by! I recently got interviewed by ‘GuysLikeU’ and they did a piece on myself…life, love, career etc, which was quite nerve-wracking and exciting but it got some really sweet comments from friends and family…a lot of people were saying to me “I didn’t know that about you” but I feel that’s a common thread for me…I’m quite secretive with myself in some areas so it felt nice to open up a little bit…I would be lying if I said it wasn’t uncommon in the gay community to share penis pics and whilst I’ve never really sent them before, I have received a fair amount in my time and on Saturday morning; I felt bold as brass and took my first ever full length nude photo and sent it…I’m not Vanessa Hudgens, so if it were to “‘leak” it would have very little impact on myself but it was exhilarating and the guy I sent it to really enjoyed it…so that’s been a bit of a perk for my confidence.

Dan Says – Week Two

We’ve hit February! I’m sure January was longer than the entire of 2018? I had a lovely Saturday having brunch at Bao and Bing. It was so cool! It’s this cute little Thai cuisine restaurant just off Baker Street. You pick two buns and then your pieces inside the buns… Bao is like this fluffy, steamed bun and it’s absolutely scrumptious. I had salmon, avocado and vine tomatoes with me and a glass of prosecco or two. They also do this really fun thing where you can pick a number between 1-150 and if your number is called from this bingo box, your meal is free.

The Essential Weekly Playlist of: Peppermint Heaven

We’ve had a good working relationship with Peppermint Heaven for several years now, and they even did an Essential Weekly Playlist for us back in 2016. The duo comprising Juno and Spark, based in Los Angeles, are strongly influenced by the likes of Tears For Fears, Pet Shop Boys, Simple Minds, New Order, Howard Jones, Psychedelic Furs…..among others – so it’s no surpise to see a few of those names turn up in their Essential Weekly Playlist.
