Preacher and award-winning singer songwriter Joshua Israel is also a devoted husband and proud father of seven children. He grew up surrounded by music in the church with a father who was also muscially inclined, and he started singing in the choir, and playing drums in the church band, while still a child. At the age of 19 Joshua started leading the worship ministry, and writing his own songs, with an inspirational message of hope, and to remind people they are loved.

Long Claw – ‘Razor Blade Tears’

Based in Atlanta, Long Claw comprises Will Price on bass and lead vox, Sean Briney Martin on guitars and other vocals, and Danny Long on guitars, and Detlef Von Kalben on drums and percussion. The band, signed to Pavement Entertainment, came together in 2016 have released one album, ‘Disatrophe. Their latest track, ‘Razor Blade Tears’, nods to Black Sabbath’s ‘Solitude’.

Where Are We – ‘Not My President’

Christopher Ian Brooker, who performs as Where Are We, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia, and has been producing and releasing music for over a decade. His latest track, ‘Not My President’, is a contemporary electronic protest song, with a unique blend of indie rock and EDM.

ZanMan Trippin – ‘Bitcoin’

Born in Long Island New York, Mike Francis, aka ZanMan Trippin, now represents “da Nawfside” of Atlanta, GA, in Gwinnett County. ZanMan Trippin cites his inflences as including Future, Max B, Wiz Khalifa, as well as lots of R&B music from the 60s through 80s. ZanMan has released his first single for the year, ‘Bitcoin’, an ode to crypto-currency.

The APX – ‘Right On Time’

Atlanta’s Dee and Erika Rhodes recently joined forces after making music separately for years, and launched The APX after a successful private event known as “The After Party Experience”. The husband and wife duo describe their sound as “a galactic funky atmosphere, using synths, sax, and vocals”, and released their debut single ‘Capture The Moment’, in January 2016, to test the waters. The response was pleasing, and so they released their debut EP, ‘Electrik Funk’ in July 2017 on Sleepers Records and Neon Fingers Records. Their latest single, ‘Right On Time’, is an everday feel-good love song, is an Ashford and Simpson style track with powerful vocals and a strong backbeat. Special mention must also go to the use of keytars by both Dee and Erika!
