Kulikovsky – ‘Burning Up’

Starting as an underground DJ superstar, Kulikovsky, from Minsk, in Belarus, has gone on to tour all over Europe and the former USSR. His music has also been played on underground and major UK stations alike, including BBC Radio 1. Kulikovsky’s songs are unique with a signature sound and videos that are out-of-the-box. He’s becoming one of the leading lights of electronic music in his country — and with tracks like his latest, ‘Burning Up’, we definitely understand why.

Principe Valiente – ‘Porcelain’

Fernando Honorato has named his band after the comic hero and King Arthur’s round table knight, Prince Valiant, so we need to start off presuming that Principe Valiente are primed and ready for action. Either that, or they’ve got stunning bowl cut hairstyles, and ride jet-black steeds.

Page Sevii – ‘Cheat Codes’

Page Sevii allowed the global pandemic to spark his creative awakening, and instead of curling up in a ball and allowing the difficult time of isolation and separation to consume him, he found a love for producing lyrically conscious music, and dedicated himself to perfecting his craft. His new single, ‘Cheat Codes’, comes with a music video that fully captures the essence of Colorado, including its some “herbal elements”.

Milky Chance – ‘Tainted Love’

‘Tainted Love’ was first released by Gloria Jones back in 1964, and she re-released it in 1976, in a recording produced by her boyfriend, Marc Bolan. It then became a smash hit on both sides of the Atlantic when Soft Cell released it in 1981. Now, in the hands of Berlin’s Milky Chance, it’s been given a new lease on life, not merely bringing it into the 21st century, but making it sound like it’s a Milky Chance original.

Alex Woodard – ‘Open Up’

Fans of Alex Woodard will be familiar with his music videos, the emotionally provocative animated clips which match up the artist’s direct pop-rock songs, and storytelling of a confessional nature. The clip for his latest release, ‘Open Up’, should therefore come as no surprise – although it does see Woodard at his very best.
