A.Def – ‘OP8 of the Masses’

A.DEF – short for “attention deficit” – is a collaborative effort by hip hop artists Nick FuriouStylz and X24. Based in the deserts of New Mexico, the pair have had longstanding solo careers, but their first combined effort is the title track (and video) from their forthcoming album, ‘OP8 Of The Masses’.

IBRU – ‘War and Violence’

IBRU was born and raised on the Bahamian island of South Andros, and his music is a blend of reggae, dancehall, and hip hop, as well as some pop influences. Following his experiences as a veteran of the Iraqi war, he’s come out stronger on the other side, and shares his experiences with the world through his music.

MkX – ‘One Sided Love’

Multi-talented vocalist, producer, and songwriter, MkX is rapidly rising as a fresh, innovative, pop trendsetter. Combining electronica, hip-hop, future bass, and trap, along with dynamic and infectious songwriting, the Boston based artist has developed a massive buzz around the three tracks he’s dropped since summer last year.

Mary Bue – ‘The Shit I Left In Duluth’

Mary Bue was originally from Princeton Minnesota, and is now based in Minneapolis. She’s been in the music business for nearly twenty years and finds creativity in the dark aspects of life, through which she’s able to come up with a melancholy vibe, while at the same time not becoming too cynical. Mary’s latest track, ‘The Shit I Left In Duluth’, is her latest release.

Gitty – ‘Karaoke’ ft. Trinidad James and Rose Gold

Recording as Gitty, multi-talented artist Jeff Gitelman has had his name in the liner notes of many of the biggest projects this decade, including J Cole’s ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’, ‘Surf’, by Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment, A$AP Ferg’s ‘Always Strive And Prosper’, and Logic’s ‘The Incredible True Story’. Most recently he’s collaborated with Camila Cabello on ‘After All These Years’, from her debut self-titled album.

Couch Jackets – ‘Don’t Think Just Breathe’

“Couch Jackets sounds like an alligator’s eating us” says the bio details on the Little Rock Arkansas’ band’s Bandcamp page. It’s an indication of their sense of the quartet’s sense of humour, but their musical prowess is no joke. Their latest song, ‘Don’t Think Just Breathe’ comes with a fantastically satirical video, and is clearly as much fun for both the band and the viewer alike.
