Emerald City has produced the likes of Sir Mix-A-Lot, Macklemore, and DoNormaal, and their style is notable for its idiosyncratic storytelling, humour, and big personalities – as well as an unswerving commitment to honesty, MariBased1 is in this respect, a man of his city, and along with his label mate Mr Benjamin, is a proud exponent of Seattle hip hop. Their new track, ‘Doe Boi’, comes with a music video which shows a side of Seattle that tourists are unlikely to ever see.

Sin7 comprises Rev Bliss on vocals, Nelly on guitar, and Hammer on drums. The trio were formed in 2012 in Twin Cities, Minnesota, but each member has over twenty years of performing and touring experience from their previous bands, meaning that combined they know exactly what it takes to keep their fans happy. ‘Erased’ is their latest single, and comes with a music video which features footage that looks like it’s from a horror film.

Not content to merely be a Hollywood superstar, style icon, man of the moment, and absolute legend, Jeff Goldblum, celebrated his 66th birthday at the InStyle Magazine awards at the Getty Museum, Los Angeles, where he was honoured as this year’s “Man Of Style”. The award comes ahead of the release of his debut jazz album, ‘The Capitol Studios Sessions’, which he recorded earlier this year with his long term band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. ‘The Capitol Studio Sessions’ is out today November 9 through Decca Records.
